God's Wheels sponsors annual food drives, in a select city each year, at the National Bikers Roundup. Beginning in Louisville, Kentucky in 1998 God's Wheels collected $40 and 450 pounds of food. 1999 Greenville, South Carolina - 6,000 pounds of food 2000 Houston, Texas - 16,000 pounds of food 2001 Madara, California - 380,000 pounds of food 2002 Dinwiddle, Virginia - 81,500 pounds of food 2003 Atlanta, Georgia - 75,000 pounds of food 2004 West Bend, Wisconsin - 54,080 pounds of food 2005 Rockingham, North Carolina - 70,000 pounds of food 2006 Fort Pierce, Florida - 45,000 pounds of food In addition to the food collected, Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Honda, BMW and Suzuki have contributed financially to the drives. The National Bikers Roundup also provides an opportunity for Gods Wheels to hand out bibles, witness to bikers and put on a Sunday service. |
